I find that insight into truths are fleeting. Clarity comes in gasps, gulps of fresh air in the midst of stagnant blurriness. The day to day drone of activity clouds the air causing us to focus on naught but the floor in front of us. But in the fleeting moment, life stops long enough to see beyond and catch something of the grander scheme of things. This blog will be my scratch board for those fleeting epiphanic moments, trying to articulate something I just see traces of.
i could totally see you as a second rower, d.groot. but i have to contest this assessment of the front rowers. sometimes the front rowers just sit in front because, like vicky said, they're late and everyone else takes up the rest of the seats, or sometimes the front rowers are there because they don't like everyone turning around to look at them when they talk in class..not that i'm a front rower or anything..

i was/am a second row sleeper or an 'uncommitted', depending on the class
i don't know what kind of student you were... i'd guess either of the two that i was
I'm sometimes right smack in the front, sometimes in the middle. sometimes I am late to class and sit in the uncommitted section.
I bet you were a back rower, judging from the sleeping with a pencil in your mouth story.
He he, good try vicky. I was usually the second row, good intentions/bad narcolepsy (hence still the pen out of the mouth story works!).
i definitely think you were in the second row being the sleeper.
i was a back rower, but you probably know that. oh and i like being against the wall to.
